i think that this pictures are not from japan.
I have seen much bigger pumpkins and beans and here in the states.The Circleville pumpkin show has much larger pumpkins each year. My Grandfather grew beans this size with his secret seeds , I recently found them in a seed catalog. Now the peppers are big!
